Yeseco was founded by Jamie Phillips, a beach loving designer who wanted to be part of the solution rather than simply talking about it. With a passion for nature and having grown up around the ocean, Jamie has travelled to some of the most beautiful parts of the world – Indonesia, Croatia, Morocco, New Zealand, Australia. After seeing masses of plastic littering these incredible co

astlines, Jamie took it upon himself to try to come up with a creative solutions to reduce waste in our daily lives.

“I wanted to make a difference. I realised consumers aren’t the problem; it was the lack of alternatives in the market. I wanted to start solving small problems on a big scale”.

So, what makes these brushes so special?

I started Yeseco to reduce unnecessary waste, and I’ve learned a lot about the manufacturing process along the way. But this discovery was the happiest accident!

When the factory changes colours, the moulds have to be flushed to remove the previous colour —something that’s both costly and wasteful. While discussing these costs, I suddenly asked, “What does that look like?” and what we discovered was incredible!

The in-between flushes created the most organic, unique, and beautiful one-off patterns. So here they are, in all their glory. There are only 18 of these one-of-a-kind brushes available!
