Miss Socorro 2026 is not merely a celebration of beauty - it is a celebration of confidence, grace, and intelligence. While the pageant highlights the physical beauty of its contestants, it equally values personality, intellect, talent, and the ability to express oneself with clarity and purpose. Each candidate will be given the platform to showcase not only their elegance but also their mind and heart through various judged segments, including personal interviews and talent presentations.
The fundamental necessities required by an individual are truly significant. Each segment will focus on the four elements of life - water, fire, air, and earth, which will be the main focus of each part of the competition.
This prestigious competition serves as a vehicle for personal growth, empowerment, and the promotion of cultural appreciation. More than just a crown, Miss Socorro 2026 is about molding role models - young women with true potential to inspire their peers and represent their community with dignity.
With a commitment to excellence, integrity, and impartiality, this pageant is designed to uphold the highest standards of the organization and conduct. It will be a program decent, dynamic, and enriching for both participants and the community alike.
This year’s pageant proudly forms part of Socorro’s 63rd Founding Anniversary, of the municipality of Socorro, and celebration in honor of our beloved the Holy Family - blending tradition, beauty, and pride in one memorable event.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Gender and Character:
Must be a biological female of good moral character.
2. Age:
Must be at least eighteen (18) and not more than twenty-four (24) years of age on the day of
the pageant (July ______, 2026).
NOTE: If the potential candidate does not meet the required age limit, the committee may adjust the limit.
3. Civil Status:
Must be single, never been married, and has never borne a child.
4. Height Requirement:
Must be at least five (5) feet four (4) inches (5’4”) tall without heels.
NOTE: If the potential candidate does not meet the height requirement, the committee has the power to change the requirement.
5. Educational Attainment:
Must be at least a high school graduate at the time of application.
6. Physical Attributes:
a. Must possess beauty of face and figure.
b. Must have a pleasant personality, with good poise and bearing.
c. Must have a complete set of teeth.
c. Must have a fair or naturally even complexion.
7. Blood Relation:
Must have blood roots at least 2nd degree (grandparents only).
Residency (with at least one of the following):
a. Must be born within the Municipality of Socorro.
b. Must be a resident of Socorro, Oriental Mindoro, for at least ten (10) years before the screening date.
c. Must be duly certified by the Punong Barangay of her place of residence.
d. If a candidate was born in another place, she must submit a photocopy of her parents’ or grandparents’ birth certificate wherein the name of the Municipality of Socorro must be written on it.
e. If a candidate is a voter in the Municipality of Socorro, she must submit a photocopy of the Voter’s ID.
8. Supplementary Requirements:
a. Must actively participate in all official activities, rehearsals, orientations, and related events prior to the coronation night.
b. Must not have been involved in any scandalous or immoral conduct that could tarnish the reputation of the pageant or the municipality.
c. The final list of official candidates shall be determined by the organizing committee after the screening.
9. Required Documents:
To qualify for the selection of official candidates, the following documents must be presented to the MS 2026 Screening Committee.
a. Applicants must submit the following on or before the screening dates:
• Accomplished Miss Socorro 2026 Official Application Form.
• Photocopy of Birth Certificate (PSA or LCR copy)
• Certificate of Residency and Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by the Punong Barangay.
• Photocopy of Diploma or Form 137/138 (for proof of educational attainment)
• Photocopy of the candidate’s valid government-issued Identification Card (Example – National ID).
• One (1) recent 2x2 colored photo (white background)
