انٹرنیشنل ٹورسٹ گائیڈ ڈے پہلی بار World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations کی جانب سے 1990 میں منایا گیا، تاکہ گائیڈز کی محنت اور خدمات کو سراہا جا سکے۔
ٹورسٹ گائیڈ صرف راستہ دکھانے والا نہیں ہوتا، بلکہ وہ اپنے ملک کی تاریخ، ثقافت اور روایات کا امین ہوتا ہے۔ہم سیاحوں کو صرف مقامات نہیں دکھاتے، بلکہ کہانیاں سناتے ہیں، یادیں بناتے ہیں اور اپنے وطن کا مثبت چہرہ دنیا کے سامنے پیش کرتے ہیں۔
بطور ٹورسٹ گائیڈ مجھے فخر ہے کہ میں پاکستان کی خوبصورتی، مہمان نوازی اور ثقافتی ورثے کو دنیا تک پہنچانے کا ذریعہ ہوں۔

Dear Tourist Guide Community,
On 21 February, tourist guides around the globe celebrate International Tourist Guide Day, honouring a profession that plays a vital role in fostering cultural understanding, dialogue, and responsible travel. This year’s message comes from Japan, where the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA) has just concluded its 2026 Convention with more than 600 participants from 50 countries. Under the theme of sustainable tourism, delegates explored the evolving responsibilities of tourist guides in times of overtourism, global transformation, and increasing societal challenges.
On this International Tourist Guide Day, I proudly celebrate the profession that is not just my work but my passion.
