Today, in the Bhashkar Gol valley of Upper Chitral, a rare Himalayan Ibex was hunted in collaboration with Bhashkar Gol Bio-Sphere. The hunted Ibex had 42-inch-long horns, making it the first of its kind in the history of Bhashkar Gol and Upper Chitral. The hunter, Mr. Zeeshan Nasir Khan, who hails from Lower Chitral, successfully hunted the Ibex for a fee of PKR 180,000. This marks the first trophy hunting event in the Bhashkar Gol area.
After the hunt, when the team reached Balim, they were given a grand welcome by the representatives and members of VCC Balim and VCC Garik. This hunt was conducted under the supervision of VCC Sur Laspur, VCC Balim, VCC Garik, and VCC Brok. Such activities are considered a unique step towards the success and development of the region, providing economic benefits to the local community.
