View of Beautiful Attabad lake from Ghulkin, Gojal Hunza.

The lake was formed due to a landslide which caused blockage of hunza river for 5 months in 2010 near attabad village resulting in the flooding of valley.

Now Attabad lake has become major tourist attraction largely due to its turquoise colour of the water and spectacular Landscape.
