As you all know, COVID-19 had impacted us for more than a year now when we had completely shut down our operations and stood still in solidarity with our vulnerable host community with minimal access to healthcare. s dedicated to redistributing the income generated by tourism influx among the local population through bed and breakfast, and we measured the impact we created by the number of sales we made, but wouldn’t sending thousands of tourists to over-rated areas in typical tourism seasons mean, we were also set towards contributing to mass tourism unknowingly? During COVID we realized along with economic disparity, a growing gap in access to earning & learning opportunities in tourism and a significantly low number of eco-friendly and local-friendly businesses in Pakistani Tourism Industry are issues that need immediate action. We reanalyzed our model to make it more impact-oriented and launched EverythingLocal as a platform that will connect you to all tourism-related local services and products, including and not limited to all our bed and breakfast hosts previously registered with us. We will also be helping local women set up eco-friendly and profitable businesses that will be marketed through our platform. We are making sure 85% of the profit will go to the local service provider without ay middle men. The remaining 15% will be used to extend and scale our impact sustainably, making us one of a kind social enterprise prioritizing impact over unnecessary profit margins. We stand for equity and extend special support to the ones affected by unethical business practices happening in the tourism industry for years. The equity symbol in our logo is a commitment to our purpose-driven practices.
