In Loving Memory of Sohail Sakhi: A Life of Courage, Passion, and Service

Today, On behalf of Pamircrest Adventure tour Company write with a heavy heart in memory of our dear brother, Sohail Sakhi.

At just 33 years of age, Sohail was a young, energetic, and passionate adventure and tourism entrepreneur from Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan. He proudly carried forward the remarkable legacy of his late father, Uncle Sakhi Karim, whose lifelong contributions to Pakistan’s tourism industry inspired so many. Sohail embraced that same spirit of courage, hospitality, and love for the mountains, dedicating his life to sharing the beauty of our homeland with the world.

Sohail was more than an adventurer; he was a remarkable human being. His warm smile, kind heart, and generous nature touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He inspired people not only through his achievements but also through his humility, compassion, and unwavering passion for life.

It is still difficult to accept that you are no longer with us. The mountains you loved so deeply became the setting of your final journey, and while our hearts are filled with sorrow, we also remember the extraordinary life you lived—with courage, purpose, and dignity.

Wherever you are, our heartfelt prayers are with you. May your soul rest in eternal peace, and may you forever shine among the Divine’s chosen ones. Your memory will continue to inspire us, and your legacy will live on in every mountain climbed, every traveler welcomed, and every life you touched.

My prayers also go out to the beautiful souls who were alongside dear Sohail Sakhi on this expedition. May all of his fellow climbers who lost their lives find eternal peace, and may their courage, friendship, and shared passion for the mountains never be forgotten.

Nirmal Purja MBE - NIMSDAI forever in mountain ⛰️🥹💔

From a small village in Nepal to the highest mountains on Earth, Nirmal Purja achieved what many believed was impossible. A former Gurkha and UK Special Forces soldier, he stunned the world by climbing all 14 peaks above 8,000 meters in just 6 months and 6 days—rewriting mountaineering history.

But his legacy goes far beyond records. He inspired millions to dream bigger, pushed the limits of human endurance, and risked his own life to rescue fellow climbers.

His final expedition on Broad Peak ended in tragedy, but his courage, determination, and belief that “Impossible is just an opinion” will continue to inspire generations.
