TRAVEL ADVISORY TWIN CITIES
Today, 27 November 2025, Pakistan will play against Sri Lanka in the T20 Tri-Nation Tournament at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Traffic is expected to be heavy between 1600–1800 hours during team arrivals and 2200–2300 hours after the match. Increased security will be deployed around the stadium, Serena area, and Red Zone. Travelers are advised to plan their routes in advance.

Affected Routes
* Road closures from Serena to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
* Due to security measures, Serena, NADRA, and the Express Entry Gates of the Red Zone will remain closed.
* Murree Road will be closed from Faizabad to Double Road for team movements.
* Islamabad-bound traffic will be diverted to the Expressway.
* Rawalpindi-to-Islamabad traffic will be routed via 6th Road and Saidpur Road.
* Temporary closures and slowdowns are expected on the Expressway and Srinagar Highway during team arrivals and departures.
Travel Advisory
* Avoid travelling on affected routes during match hours.
* Use IJP Road, 9th Avenue, Margalla Road, and other available service roads to minimise delays.
* Plan your travel ahead of time and avoid peak traffic hours between 1600 and 2300.
* Use Margalla Road and Marriott Road as alternative routes to enter the Red Zone, while access to Club Road is available via Seventh Avenue or Embassy Road from Srinagar Highway.
* Expect enhanced security measures and restricted movement around the red zone and stadium vicinity.
* Carry personal identification and vehicle documents at all times.
* Follow instructions and guidance issued by the authorities on duty.
