The Pakistan Tanners Association - Central and Southern Zone (PTA) hosted a landmark interaction session at its Head Office in Karachi, welcoming a high-level delegation from Uzbekistan, led by H.E. Mr. Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, along with senior government officials and regional leadership on 30-April-2026.

The session, hosted by Dr. Danish Aman (Chairman PTA S.Z.) and Mr. Hamid Zahur (Chairman PTA – Central), brought together key stakeholders from both countries to explore new avenues of collaboration in the global leather and tanning industry.

The distinguished Uzbek delegation included:

In a positive development, a high-level Pakistani business delegation is now expected to visit Uzbekistan soon, following a formal invitation from Uzbek leadership.

The event concluded on a high note with commemorative shield exchanges, traditional gifts, and a group photograph—symbolizing a promising new chapter of economic cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

The CEO of BB Health Tours participated in the B2B interaction of a high-level business delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by H.E. Mr. Normat Tursunov, Governor of Navoi Region, to the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on 28th April, 2026.
The delegation held productive discussions with KCCI leadership to enhance bilateral trade, explore investment opportunities, and strengthen economic cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
