‘One who visits us after we have passed away is like the one who has visited us while we were alive.’

Traditions emphasize that one who has the means to perform Ziarat must do so twice in a year. (Kamiluz Ziaraat, pg. 188)
And the infallibles (a.s.) do not like the Shias to be absent from their shrines for a period of four years at a stretch (i.e. a Shia must go for Ziarat at least once in four years). (Kamiluz Ziaraat, pg. 297)
