On the night between 6 and 7 May 2025, Indian Armed Forces carried out an unprovoked and cowardly assault targeting innocent civilians—among them women, children, and the elderly. This horrific act of aggression claimed the lives of 40 civilians, including 7 women and 15 children, and left 121 injured, with 10 women and 27 children among them.
In resolute retaliation, the Pakistan Armed Forces launched a measured and effective counter-offensive, Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, under the overarching framework of Marka-e-Haq. The response was precise, determined, and rooted in the duty to defend the homeland.
While upholding the nation’s dignity and sovereignty, 12 brave members of the Pakistan Armed Forces embraced shahadat, and 78 sustained injuries in the line of duty.

These brave souls have etched their legacy into the heart of the nation—symbols of unmatched sacrifice, devotion, and patriotism.
The Pakistan Armed Forces, standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Pakistan, pay homage to the martyred and extend heartfelt prayers for the recovery of all those wounded.
The message is clear: Pakistan will never tolerate violations of its sovereignty. Any such misadventure in the future will be met with a resolute, comprehensive, and unyielding response—Insha’Allah.
