Some places a civil engineer may perform land surveying in others , surveying is limited to construction surveying ,unless an additional qualification is obtained specialist civil engneers usually practice in a particular specialty such as Construction engineering,
Geo technical engineering,
Structural engineering,
land development and transportation engineering,
May practice across multiple specialization
