JUST IN: In order to promote tourism, PIA has decided to operate flights to the Saidu Sharif Airport in Swat - The airport that was closed in 2004 owing to the precarious security situation will be made operational - PIA will operate a test flight using an ATR aircraft in the last week of this month, the PIA said and called for the Civil Aviation Authority to make arrangements in this regard.
According to ths ARY News, CAA official said that the airport has been non-operational for a long time and will be re-opened following an approval of the federal government.

Happy to share that three air busses landed at skardu airport to facilitate tourist and mountain lovers . Its a pleasure to share that weekly two air busses will fly from Jinnah international airport to direct skardu ( tourist hub of Pak) .
All karachities who are willing to visit Skardu Baltistan now can fly direct from Karachi to Skardu
