Further Updates On Travel return & Hotel Quarantine Policy.

Please be informed that the below circular and as received from Ministry of Public Health, to help everyone transition into the new MOPH mandate regarding mandatory pre-travel COVID19 PCR Test certificate for all travelers, the following has been decided:
Travelers bound for Qatar with arrival scheduled between 13:00hrs 25th April up to 01:59hrs on 27th April 2021 who do not have a valid pre-travel PCR test shall be allowed to board the aircraft or enter through Abu Samra on the condition that they must undergo PCR test on their arrival in HIA/Abu Samra or on arrival up to day 1 for those going to quarantine facilities (Hotels, Private etc.) for a fee of QAR 300/- per passenger (including minors).
The transition period will end 1:59am 27th April 2021, therefore any traveler with arrival scheduled from 2:00am on 27th April 2021 will be subject to the mandatory pre-travel COVID-19 PCR Test and should not be allowed to board / enter the land border.
From 13:00hours on 25th April 2021, in any case that the pre-travel COVID-19 PCR test certificate is found invalid, or if the traveler fail to provide a certificate (lost during travel, or any other reason, etc.) upon arrival in Qatar, the traveler will be subject to the following:
1. The traveler will be required to undergo PCR test at the HIA upon arrival with a fee of QAR 300/- payable using a bank card or through online link which will be sent to the passenger mobile number immediately after registration in HIA Clinic. MOPH Cashiers will be on site to arrange payment.
2. All travelers regardless age (including minors) are required to have PCR test done upon their arrival in HIA, or on arrival up to day 1 for those going to quarantine facilities (Hotels, Private, etc.).
3. A traveler who is a government employee who are returning from an official mission, or business traveler, VIP, etc. will be required to pay the test and may arrange re-imbursement of the PCR test fee with their employer or the host.
4. Transit passengers who require a swab test for their onward flight must pay for the swab test on same rate QAR 300/-.
5. Traveler whose Entry Permit indicates ‘Mukhaines Quarantine’ must not be allowed to board unless they hold a valid PCR test.
