We've got great news! Nearly all visitors to the UK can now use the new eVisa service when they travel. You get to keep your passport with you. [record scratch] It's very simple. Let me show you how. It all starts on the UK Visa and Immigration website. You need to create your UKVI account, fill in your details, upload your documents, and apply online. The process and application timelines have not changed. After applying, you'll still need an appointment at a visa application center. Here, the fabulous staff will take your biometrics, your fingerprints, and you're done! Now sit back, relax, while we do the hard work and process your application. Once a decision has been made, we'll email you to let you know. Now, the good news, and the big difference, is that you get to keep your passport with you. You don't have to hand it in, and you no longer need to visit the visa center a second time. Instead, you'll be sent an eVisa linked to your UKVI account and passport number. You can then easily generate a share code to prove your visa status. This gives you much more time to do that last-minute cup of tea and mitha shopping for your loved ones. [upbeat music]
