Did you know about vienna regarding best places ?
If no or yes i will show you most adventures and historical imperial palaces that will stop you in your tracks. 👑
1. Schönbrunn — 1,441 rooms, the world’s oldest zoo, and the garden where Mozart performed at age 6. This is where the Habsburg Empire lived and breathed.
2. The Belvedere — Built for a war hero, not an emperor. Today it’s home to Klimt’s The Kiss — and a reflecting pool that makes the perfect shot at golden hour.
3. The Hofburg — 18 wings, 19 courtyards, 2,600 rooms. This is where the Habsburgs didn’t just live — they ran the world for six centuries.
4. Augarten Palace — Vienna’s best-kept secret. A Baroque park open since 1775, home to the Vienna Boys’ Choir, and shadowed by two massive WWII flak towers still too big to demolish.
5. Liechtenstein City Palace — A private collection with Raphael, Rubens, and Rembrandt. Less museum, more palace where someone actually cares what’s on the walls.
6. Palais Schwarzenberg — JFK stayed here during his 1961 summit with Khrushchev. Still in private family hands. Just reopened after years of restoration.
7. Hermesvilla — Emperor Franz Joseph built this as a personal gift for Empress Sisi, deep inside a forested wildlife reserve. Her private gym is still intact.
8. Palais Epstein — Overlooked by most tourists, but designed by the same architect as the Parliament building next door. It was a N**i seizure, then a Soviet HQ. Now it’s part of Austria’s democracy.
The best way to experience all of this. 🚗✨
