A Hot, Frustrating, and Unpleasant Journey on Batik Air (OD131 KUL-LHE) I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent flight on Batik Air, flight number OD131 from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Lahore (LHE).
The entire experience was uncomfortable and stressful from start to finish. The most significant issue was the air conditioning. For the entire duration of this long-haul flight, the cabin air conditioning was either broken or barely working. The cabin became incredibly hot and stuffy, making it almost impossible to rest or be comfortable. It was a miserable environment for such a long journey. To make matters worse, boarding was chaotic. By the time I got to my seat, all the overhead cabin storage was already full. There was no space for my carry-on bag, and many other passengers faced the same problem. This led to significant delays and frustration as people tried to find space for their belongings. Finally, the attitude of the cabin crew was unacceptable. Instead of being helpful and understanding given the difficult situation (the heat and the lack of storage), the staff I interacted with were aggressive and dismissive. When I tried to ask for help with my bag, and later when I inquired about the broken AC, the response was rude and unhelpful. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. I fly this route often, but this experience was by far the worst. A non-functional AC, no space for bags, and aggressive staff are not what I expect from any airline. I strongly urge Batik Air to look into these issues, but I will be avoiding them for my future travel.
