The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued instructions to all nominated banks for unpaid refund of Hajj Duties 2020. All Hajj applicants can collect their Hajj Duties 2020 from their respective banks.
In case of any problem, contact your respective bank coordinator. If the issue is not resolved, please contact the Accounts Office Refund 0519208465 for complaints.

Saudi Arabia cancels International Hajj

The Saudi government has canceled pilgrimages to other countries this year due to a global outbreak of the corona virus. Only locals and non-locals living in Saudi Arabia will be able to perform Hajj.

According to a detailed statement issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, it will not be possible for such a large number of visitors to travel on social distances, which could increase the risk of further spread of the corona virus.
The statement said that at present more than 500,000 people have been killed and about 7 million have been affected by the Corona virus which has spread to 180 countries of the world. On the other hand, there is no cure or vaccine available yet. In such a situation, a large gathering like Hajj could lead to further spread of the virus globally.

This year, the kingdom's Hajj ministry said the ritual would be open only to individuals of various nationalities residing in Saudi Arabia.

In a virtual news conference on Tuesday, Hajj Minister Mohammad Benten said the government is still in the process of reviewing the number of overall pilgrims allowed, saying they could be "around 1,000, maybe less, maybe a little more".

"The number won't be in tens or hundreds of thousands" this year, he added
