Summit success on Mount Everest and Lhotse!

Standing at 8,849 meters above sea level, where the sky feels closer and every step tells a story of determination, sacrifice, and dreams. This moment is a reminder that the highest peaks are conquered one step at a time.

With these climbs, I have now completed my 47th successful 8,000-meter summit. Every peak has its own challenges, lessons, and memories, but the passion for the mountains remains the same.

Final Summit of the Season on Everest!!! 🏔️
27 May, 2026

This morning at 8:45 AM, Norwegian 14 × 8000 m speed record holder Harila, together with her longtime guide and fellow 14 × 8000 m climber Sherpa and Dukpa Sherpa, successfully summited Mount Everest. Kristin made this ascent without the use of supplemental oxygen.

Kristin and Mingtamba have now successfully completed the Triple Crown Challenge fresh, having summited
Nuptse on 17 May
Lhotse on 21 May (with O2), and
Everest on 27 May

With this ascent, we mark the final summit success of the 2026 Everest season for Seven Summit Treks.

Warm congratulations to .harila , , .d.sherpa and the entire team on this strong finish. Wishing them a safe descent back to Base Camp.

🏔️ The Everest Man Does It Again! 🇳🇵
Massive congratulations to the legendary Kami Rita Sherpa (56) on his historic 32nd successful ascent of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha) on 17 May 2026, once again extending his own world record for the highest number of Everest summits in history.

Kami Rita reached the summit this morning at 10:12 AM, continuing an extraordinary journey that began in 1994. For more than three decades, he has shown unmatched strength, dedication, and passion for the mountains, inspiring climbers and adventure lovers around the world.

Known globally as the true symbol of Everest, Kami Rita Sherpa is not only Nepal’s national climbing hero but also one of the greatest high-altitude mountaineers of all time. His consistency, experience, and humility continue to inspire the global mountaineering community year after year.

Wishing him a safe descent back to Base Camp and looking forward to welcoming him again in Kathmandu. 🙏
