👈 گلگت بلتستان میں خوبانیوں (Apricots) کو دھوپ میں سکھانے کا روایتی طریقہ ایک ثقافتی رسم ہے۔ خوبانی جمع کرنے کے موسم میں خاندان کے افراد مل کر پکی ہوئی خوبانیوں کو آدھا کاٹتے ہیں اور انہیں چٹانوں کی ہموار سطحوں پر قطاروں میں بچھا دیتے ہیں تاکہ سورج کی گرمی میں قدرتی طور پر خشک ہو سکیں۔ یہ طریقہ، جو نسل در نسل منتقل ہوتا آیا ہے، خوبانیوں کو بغیر کسی کیمیکل یا مصنوعی اجزاء کے محفوظ کرتا ہے اور ان کے ذائقے اور خوشبو کو مزید گہرا کر دیتا ہے۔ سنہری خوبانیوں کی قطاریں، پہاڑی مناظر کے پس منظر میں، نہ صرف دلکش نظر آتی ہیں بلکہ مقامی دانش پر مبنی پائیدار طرزِ زندگی کی علامت بھی ہیں۔
