It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of renowned Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja (Nims Dai), who reportedly lost his life following the devastating avalanche on Broad Peak, Pakistan.

Nims Dai inspired millions with his courage, determination, and extraordinary achievements in the world's highest mountains. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of climbers.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, teammates, and the entire global mountaineering community.

We are closely monitoring reports of an avalanche on Broad Peak (8,047m) in the Karakoram.

According to initial reports, a team of 10 climbers—including renowned mountaineer Nirmal "Nims" Purja, Pakistani, Nepalese, and other international climbers—has reportedly lost communication following the incident.

Search and rescue operations are being coordinated by the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) in collaboration with the relevant authorities, subject to weather and operational conditions.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the climbers, their families, and the entire mountaineering community. We sincerely pray for their safety, a successful rescue operation, and their safe return.

Further updates will be shared as soon as officially confirmed information becomes available.
