Every mountain conquered begins with the courage to take the first step.

At only 20 years old, Moiz from the USA chose a path that demands courage, discipline, resilience, and determination. Instead of chasing comfort, he chose to chase summits.

His journey began with professional training at the Sadpara Mountaineering School, under the leadership of Sajid Ali Sadpara, where he learned the essential skills, safety techniques, and mindset required for high-altitude climbing.

His first milestone? The successful summit of Bari La (5,400m).

This achievement also reflects something much greater: keeping alive the legacy of the legendary Muhammad Ali Sadpara. Ali Sadpara believed that the mountains should inspire, unite, and create opportunities for future generations. Today, Sajid Ali Sadpara is carrying that vision forward not only by climbing the world's highest peaks, but by mentoring and training the next generation of mountaineers who will write the future of this sport.

A heartfelt thank you to our brother Santiago Quintero (Spain), a respected mountaineer, for generously sharing his knowledge, technical expertise, and experience while mentoring Moiz throughout his journey. Your support reflects the true spirit of the global climbing community.

But this is only the beginning.

The next goal is Khosar Gang (6,000m) in 2027, another step toward becoming a stronger and more experienced mountaineer.

We hope Moiz's journey inspires young people around the world to dream bigger, embrace challenges, step outside their comfort zones, and discover what they are truly capable of.

Rest in Peace!

57 x 8000m summits = Highest no of 8k summits 🙌🏽🙏🏽

Some moments aren’t about standing on the summit—they’re about pausing to appreciate the path that got you there.

On 21st July at 11:35 am Pakistan local time, Gasherbrum II became my 57th summit. This one was achieved while leading the entire expedition and guiding 1:1. Every mountain has brought new challenges and new lessons. Each summit is the result of persistence, preparation, and respect for the mountain.

This expedition reminded us that patience is often the greatest strength. We arrived at base camp as the last team, our equipment was delayed, and many expeditions had already abandoned their summit attempts due to snow conditions, insufficient ropes, and more. Instead of forcing the mountain, we trusted our process, adapted our plans, and waited for the right opportunity.

A huge congratulations to all the summiters from team Elite Exped and team Imagine Nepal, who worked collaboratively to fix the lines to the summit. I would also like to thank everyone involved in establishing the route to below C4. Watching different teams come together in the mountains is a powerful reminder that collaboration will always achieve more than competition.

The mountains never owe us anything. Sometimes they welcome us; sometimes they don’t. This time, they granted us safe passage, and for that I am deeply thankful.

The Alpine Club of Pakistan confirms, with profound sorrow, the loss of two climbers in the July 30 avalanche on Broad Peak:

Nadhira Al Harthy of Oman and Pur Bahadur Gurung “Yukta” of Nepal. Nadhira’s body has been recovered and is being transported by helicopter to Skardu. Arrangements for Yukta’s transport are underway.

The identities of the remaining climbers will be confirmed and shared as soon as official information becomes available.

We urge everyone to await verified updates from ACP before sharing further details.

Search and rescue operations continue for those still missing. Our thoughts remain with all the families and the global mountaineering community during this difficult time.

Prayers for the safe return of the climbers.

10 Climbers from 5 Countries Missing After Broad Peak Avalanche

An avalanche on Broad Peak (8,047m) in Pakistan's Karakoram has left 10 climbers from five countries missing, prompting a major international search and rescue operation.

The missing climbers include:
🇳🇵 Nepal: 6 climbers
🇴🇲 Oman: 1 climber
🇵🇰 Pakistan: 1 climber
🇨🇳 China: 1 climber
🇺🇸 United States: 1 climber

Pakistan Army Aviation has deployed two rescue helicopters with rescue personnel and specialized equipment to reinforce ground teams searching the challenging high-altitude terrain.

The international mountaineering community is closely following the operation, hoping for positive news from one of the world's most demanding peaks.

Update from Nepal:

Sajid Ali Sadpara has successfully submitted Mount Makalu (8485M) with oxygen, the 5th highest in the world.
It is his 10th peak without oxygen, closing him to his mission to summit all the 14 peaks of 8 thousanders without supplementary oxygen.
