This ✴️UNESCO SITE ✴️needs no further introduction ⛏️⛏️🧂🧂🧂🧂

Wieliczka Salt Mines, a truly amazing place! Not only because it is a massive underground salt structure , supported by 1000's of wooden beams, but also due to the fact of :
✴️ the salt deposits are 13.5 million years old
✴️ in middle ages the mine alone ( by selling the salt which was the only and basic way to preserve food ) provided about 35% if Polish Kingdom's GDP
✴️ it has underground lakes ( completely saturated with salt - over 350 per each liter , so over 1/3rd of the capacity)
✴️ and an extraordinary amount of genius engineering and effort involved there!

Stay tuned and I will be posting more pictures a d footages soon 🙌
