Zakopane is a beautiful town we explored a few years ago on our first trip to southern Poland. It was so much fun to return here and see why we fell in love with it in the first place! 🏔🇵🇱

Beyond the hikes and epic viewpoints of the Tatra Mountains, we visited the country’s largest thermal spa at Chochołowskie Termy. As you can see from our photos, we enjoyed plenty of hearty Polish food as well! 😋

An unexpected highlight of this area was heading east to Szczawnica. This village is home to many renowned spa and health resorts, which was such a relaxing treat! One day, we even took a bike ride across the border to Slovakia along the Dunajec River 🚴‍♀️🇸🇰

Dish of the Day: Bryndzové halušky 😍

Potato dumplings, sheep cheese, and crispy bacon. It’s easy to see why this is Slovakia’s national dish! 😋🇸🇰

Did you know Wroclaw is one of the last cities in Europe where gas lamps are still lit by hand? What a cool experience this was to see firsthand in Poland! The funny part was that we had to actually track down the official lamplighter first 😀🇵🇱
