Reading these words from Sven and Wendy warms our hearts. They stayed with us between May and June and made the most of everything Morada and Ribatejo have to offer: relaxing by the pool, walks through the vineyards, and of course, coffee with a pastel de nata in our nearby villages. ☕️🥧

For us, the greatest compliment is knowing our guests take “magnificent memories” back home. That’s why we take care of every detail, so your only worry is deciding when to take a dip.

Morada da Vovó Alda is named after a grandmother. Located in Almeirim, 50 min from Lisbon, somewhere the tourist buses forgot to turn.

This is 8am here. Two pastéis de nata, still warm. The terrace catching the first of the sun. A saltwater pool waiting behind you. No itinerary. No agenda. No one asking anything of you.

This is not a holiday rental, This is a nervous system reset.

Portugal has a secret and you just found it. 🤍

That moment you open the gate and think: oh. this is it.

Guests tell us they feel it before they even put down their bags. Before the pool, before the room, before any of it. Something about the courtyard, the lanterns, the old stone well, the flowers that clearly didn’t get the memo that this is supposed to be a rental property.

It just feels like someone’s home. Because it was.
