This story is about Leonor (team member) and her big love - Raffa.

2,5 years ago Leonor was finishing school and her final project was to create an event.
“I thought that doing something that helped, like volunteering, caring for dogs at a shelter, something that would make a difference was the right path. So I decided to apply for an internship there so that I could help and create something that could bring awareness and recognition about a topic that I really cared about”.

That dog shelter visit was life-changing!
“It’s like there was always an empty spot in my soul, quietly waiting to be filled, and when I met him, it began to overflow. As if he had always been waiting for me, and I had always been needing him”.

We are happy to share such heartwarming life story with you. It’s a reminder that there are so many incredible animals out there just waiting for a second chance.

Adopting a shelter´s dog means giving a life full of kindness, adventure, and connection. And honestly? They give so much more in return.

Impact Surf Camp Volunteers are rocking it! 👏🏻

Together we collected 19 bags of trash from Carcavelos beach - our hands-on effort is making a real difference for our oceans and marine life.

With a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility, Amgen took time out of their workweek to make a real impact in Sintra National Forest. The acacia tree is an invasive species in this ecosystem and highly flammable. As Portugal faces increasingly dry and windy conditions, removing these trees is critical in helping prevent devastating wildfires. Thanks to 120 incredible volunteers, we removed hundreds of not thousands of trees yesterday! Huge thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out for nature today. Your work matters. 🌍 🍃

♻️ Not all plastic has to end up in the trash.
In our Upcycling program, we give plastic a second life — turning it into skateboards, beach paddles, and other items that end up in the hands of children… with a huge smile.

It’s more than recycling , it’s transformation.
Plastic, ideas, and even life perspectives.

ImpacTrip is a social business internationally certified as B-Corp that promotes Responsible Travel Experiences in Portugal, Spain and Croatia. Founded in 2015 by two dedicated social entrepreneurs that want to change the way people travel, ImpacTrip aims at combining the best of travel with a positive social and environmental impact. We really want travelers to have the most unique and meaningful travel experiences. We offer short-term Travel Experiences across three different countries that allow you and other responsible travelers to connect with the locals, experience the culture and contribute in a positive way to the local communities. We also offer long-term volunteer programs in which you can dedicate 1 to 12 weeks volunteering for local non-profits for a specific cause while meeting people from all over the world. Since 2015 we've received people from over 60+ different nationalities that contributed with over 40.000 hours of volunteer work to support over 350 non-profits.
