For all yachts approaching Cape Verde Islands: URGENT CALL FOR DONATIONS – Flood Victims in São Vicente

After the devastating floods caused by Tropical Storm Erin, many families in São Vicente have lost homes, belongings, and access to basic necessities. Currently official numbers count 7 people dead but many more missing.

We are calling on all sailing yachts heading towards Marina Mindelo to bring donations to help those affected:
- Clothing and shoes (including for children)
- Sanitary products (including for babies and women)
- Dry and non-perishable foods

Marina Mindelo will gladly receive your contributions and ensure they are distributed directly to the families in need.

An alle Yachten die Kapverde ansteuern: DRINGENDER SPENDENAUFRUF – Flutopfer in São Vicente, Kap Verde

Nach den verheerenden Überschwemmungen durch den Tropensturm Erin haben viele Familien in São Vicente ihr Zuhause, Hab und Gut und den Zugang zu grundlegenden Dingen verloren. Aktuelle Zahlen bestätigen 7 Todesopfer, aber viele Menschen werden noch vermisst.

Wir rufen alle Segelyachten, die den Hafen Marina Mindelo ansteuern, dazu auf, Spenden mitzubringen:
- Kleidung und Schuhe (auch für Kinder)
- Hygieneartikel (auch für Babys und Frauen)
- Haltbare und nicht verderbliche Lebensmittel

Marina Mindelo nimmt Ihre Spenden gerne entgegen und sorgt dafür, dass sie direkt an die betroffenen Familien verteilt werden.
