Have you ever visited a Portuguese w**e cellar? 🍷🇵🇹

Today I visited José Maria da Fonseca in Azeitão, one of Portugal’s historic w**e producers, together with a group.

Walking through the old cellars, surrounded by enormous wooden barrels and the wonderful aromas of ageing w**e, is an experience in itself.

And of course, there was w**e tasting… 😉🍷

Azeitão is especially known for Moscatel de Setúbal, but José Maria da Fonseca is also closely associated with Periquita, one of Portugal’s best-known w**e brands.

If you’re travelling in the Lisbon/Setúbal area and love w**e, food and authentic Portuguese experiences, this is one to put on your list.
