During my working career I have arranged vast numbers of events, trips, away days, charity fundraisers, business meetings and Christmas Parties, after using my negotiating skills to get the best value within the given budget. More recently over in the Algarve I have arranged celebrations for a 60th birthday attended by over 30 UK visitors, a reunion trip for a group of 15 friends giving advice on accommodation and arranging airport transfers. I have booked lunches and dinners and arranged transport to the restaurants and arranged local wine tasting events. I only recommend accommodation, restaurants and services that I have personally experienced. In 2014 I was voted UK Travel Manager of the Year by the Institute of Travel Management (ITM). At no cost to you, I will use my local knowledge and contacts to find you the best accommodation all of which I have personally visited and viewed, arrange your airport transfers, Wine tasting, Wedding Planning and Events, Private Dining and making your holiday one to remember. I will provide you with all the necessary details and contact numbers for your consideration, allowing you to make the bookings yourself so that you still retain full control of your holiday. Traditional Portuguese stall holders, wine tasting, food stalls, live bands playing, horse shows and as the evening gets dark the magical lights around appear. UNIONS AND MENZIES (HANDLING) REACH AGREEMENT AND CANCEL STRIKES

In a letter sent to the company today, the union states that following the agreement, its members "will not strike."
The strikes scheduled for August 15-18, August 22-25, and August 29-September 1 are therefore canceled.

"The strike notice in question is null and void, given the understanding reached between the union and the company's representatives at the Ministry of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security with the Ministry's representatives," the document states.

The cancellation follows strikes held from July 25-28 and August 8-11, demanding better wages, and the extra payment for night shifts, among other demands.

Morning all, I have friends coming over next Saturday with grandchildren for a week staying at a villa which doesn't have a Stair Gate. Does anyone in the Alporchinhos, Porches area have one they could borrow or know any local charity shops that have one to purchase

For those who missed the Michael Portillo programme on The Algarve, it is now just starting on Channel 5Select. It's a great way to get a view of the area and I am lucky enough to have visited some of the places he visits too. Get watching you will love it xx
