The Pousada of Crato in Alentejo Portugal is an architectural masterpiece. Previously a Palace, Convent and Castle, this hotel in Crato has been converted into a luxurious hotel.

The Hotel Flor Da Rosa has incorporated many original features from its former existences as a Palace, Convent and Castle. The castle was the home of the Hospitallers of the Order of Malta and their distinctive motif is featured throughout the Pousada.
The Hotel Crato, is on the northern edge of the Alentejo region, and has been beautifully converted by carefully blending the traditional with modern conveniences.
