South Africans in Doha gathered in large numbers at the Doha Golf Club to watch the Springboks meet their arch rivals, the All Blacks, in the first of a four-Test tour of our country.

The Boks lost 33-16 to a much-better side at Ellis Park.

And so we eat humble pie … while Kiwi Steve MacKenzie will be eating biltong as the only person to predict an All Black victory at the golf club gathering.

Organisers South Africans in Doha will be hosting another session at the same venue for Bok supporters next Saturday, 29 August.
