Visit Chimpanzees in Rwanda ๐๐ฟ
Rwanda is home to one of Africaโs most fascinating primatesโthe chimpanzee, our closest living relative, sharing about 98% of human DNA. These intelligent and energetic animals live in Nyungwe National Park, one of the oldest and most biodiverse montane rainforests in Africa, located in Rwanda.
Chimpanzees are known for their complex social behavior, loud vocalizations, and impressive skills such as using tools, problem-solving, and communicating through gestures and sounds. In Nyungwe, they move gracefully through the forest canopy, feeding on fruits, leaves, and insects, and interacting in lively family groups.
