Here are the ultimate insider routes and hacks to make your Dubai trip smoother, more local, and way more fun:
🏖️ Beach Days: Skip the overcrowded JBR and head to Kite Beach. It’s much more chill, super clean, and water sports like jet skiing are way more affordable (pro tip: always negotiate the price!).
🏙️ Burj Khalifa & Dubai Mall: Don’t waste your entire day inside the mall. The fountain shows start at 6 PM. If you do pop into Dubai Mall, make sure to check out the giant T-Rex skeleton and Chinatown.
🛶 Old Dubai: Take a traditional Abra boat ride for just 1–2 AED across the Creek. Fun insider tip: the local market right opposite the famous old-style Starbucks serves surprisingly fire hot dogs! 🌭
🖼️ Museums: Honestly? Taking photos of the Museum of the Future from the outside is more than enough for the gram. At Dubai Frame, testing your fear of heights on the glass floor is fun, but not an absolute must-do 😅
