Skål International är glada att kunna meddela att 2025 års Sustainable Tourism Awards har slagit tidigare deltagarrekord.
Med imponerande 106 bidrag från 30 olika länder visar årets utmärkelser tydligt ett växande globalt engagemang för hållbar turism och ansvarsfulla metoder.

Beskrivning av projektet:
Lead the Change is an interactive digital card-based toolkit developed by GAMENG to engage tourism professionals in practical, transformative conversations about sustainability. Built around our “Think – Share – Solve” method, the deck breaks down complex topics into actionable insights and fosters both reflection and collaboration.
Used in digital workshops as an educational tool, the deck equips participants with a solid foundation in sustainability management, focusing on environmental, social, and economic pillars. It is also available for purchase, making it a scalable solution for organizations and teams who want to embed sustainability in their everyday operations.
Every card includes a thought-provoking question, a group dialogue prompt, and a power move, designed to move users from awareness to action. The deck turns passive communication into active engagement and empowers both individuals and businesses to align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The project has been tested in workshops and training sessions, where it has helped tourism businesses, educators and individual attendees take ownership of sustainability in a relatable and low-threshold format. Feedback highlights that participants feel more confident and motivated to implement sustainability measures after using the deck.
Its digital format and inclusive design make it especially valuable for smaller tourism actors and those in rural or resource-limited regions. The product is intentionally jargon-free and creatively gamified to make sustainability stick, and scale. Lead the Change proves that communication isn’t just about what you say. It’s about what you spark.
At its heart, Lead the Change is a communication tool, an educational method, and a movement. It helps people think deeper, share openly, and act wisely, for a sustainable tomorrow.
