own a winding road uncovering the micro-histories and stories of Serangoon and its place names through the ages: from Sa Ranggong to Hwi Yoh, RAF Chia Keng, Ang Sar Li and more. Fusing original music, narrative and visual imagery, ๐๐ผ๐๐ & ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ: ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ผ๐ผ๐ป is simultaneously a love letter to the neighbourhood and a journey through a rich and imagined memoryscape, underpinned by historical research and stories of residents past and present. The arts trail focuses on various sites in and around Serangoon North, referencing present-day landmarks such as the chirpily noisy Pet Walk, as well as its lost trades, which included a 50m-long dragon kiln, rope making and tropical fish farming cottage industries that older residents would know of.
