LILYTOPIA
Till 27 September

WHAT:
More than 7,000 lilies are in bloom in Gardens by the Bay’s current seasonal floral display around Ancient Egypt’s nature and mythology. This display brings to life the elements that once defined Egypt’s landscapes and culture - vast dunes and monumental stone structures when lush gardens lined the Nile and graced palaces and temples, and hieroglyphs depicted myth, daily life and belief systems.

Lilytopia revisits this palette with giant water lilies, sculptures, architectural details, statues of Egyptian deities - Ra, Thoth - and, of course, lilies. A key highlight is the Egyptian Blue Lotus — a water lily revered as a symbol of rebirth and the sun, so prized it was buried with pharaohs.
