She didn’t have a factory.
She didn’t have funding.
All she had was ₹3.5 lakh, a laptop, and a dream.
In 2014, Nidhi Yadav left her high-paying job at Deloitte to start something of her own.
From a small 2BHK flat in Gurugram, she launched Aks Clothing — with no office, no staff, and a newborn baby in her arms.
She studied fashion in Italy, worked with Emilio Pucci, and returned to India with one goal:
Make stylish ethnic wear affordable for young Indian women.
While most brands chased trends, she focused on speed.

By Year 4, her brand touched ₹48 Cr.
By 2021, it crossed ₹200 Cr.
All without raising a single rupee from investors.
Today, Aks is sold on Myntra, Flipkart, its own website, and offline stores too.
And Nidhi continues to grow — aiming for ₹500 Cr and global expansion.
Because real businesses don’t need fancy funding.
They just need a founder who believes.
