If you one day end up near Lake Bled, you definitely need to make a pit stop at Vintgar Gorge which is located around 4km away from Bled town.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's a 1,6 km long gorge with various wooden bridges crossing through the river and alongside it. You can't help but feel like you're walking in a fairytale where water is crystal clear and you are surrounded by nothing else but nature 😍🏞
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The entrance fee is 10€ for adults, 3€ for children (6-15 years old) and they offer a discount for students as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you're visiting from Bled, you can catch a shuttle bus which runs from Bled to Vintgar gorge several times a day for a small fee. You can also go with a car if you have one or simply walk to the gorge if you don't mind or don't have any other option (like we did!) 😁
