But step inside the Church of the Holy Trinity in Hrastovlje and you’ll quickly realise this place is anything but ordinary. ⛪✨

Hidden behind thick stone walls is one of Slovenia’s most impressive medieval frescoes — including the famous Dance of Death.

But Ljubljana hits entirely different when you’re tucked away in a local spot, sipping a drink, and uncovering the actual romantic chaos that built this city ☕️✨

Might be ruins. So what? This is Utrdba Črni Kal - a castle once overlooking Koper and the whole Slovenian Istra.

Might be a bit of a bumpy ride getting here, but it definitely is worth it. Would you take the bumpy road for this view? We definitely would.

Now this is Aura. Ljubljana from the Nebotičnik rooftop hits different.
One coffee, one castle view and suddenly you feel like the main character in a very aesthetic movie 🎬🏰

Also… can we talk about how Nebotičnik was once one of the tallest buildings in Europe??

Bled never disappoints — no matter how many times you visit it.

A turquoise lake, an island with a fairytale church, and mountains that look like they’ve been photoshopped… it’s Slovenia’s most iconic postcard in real life. ✨

Fun fact: tradition says you should ring the church bell on the island and make a wish.
(We can’t guarantee it’ll come true, but the boat ride alone is worth it 😉)

This time, we’re not at the seaside… even though it totally looks like it 😅🌊

We’re actually pretty far from the coast (well… ‘Slovenia far’, which means less than two hours because we’re tiny).

Welcome to Murska Sobota — specifically the Expano pavilion — a super cool spot right next to the lake, perfect for a slow walk, a coffee, or a little break from city life.
If you’re staying in Maribor, this is an amazing and super easy day trip.
