Many social media influencers and photographers visit Zermatt to see and take a nice photo of the 'iconic jagged' mountain: the Matterhorn (4,478m). But only climbers dare to reach the top. Last weekend, a team of 10 members of the Jezersko Mountain Rescue Service (from Slovenia, of course) made a quick ascent and encountered excellent weather, took great photos... Because some of this team are also supporters, guides and instructors of and , we believe that this post is just the right material to showcase the serious skills of our team. 😁💪🤟

[GUIDED TOURS OF JEZERSKO - our base & home]
Yesterday, Jezersko was one of the warmest places in Slovenia with 25°C. This fact was perfect for exploring Jezersko with our colleagues and business partners from the Netherlands. We got to know the glacial valley of Ravenska kočna, some of the farms, restaurants and family-owned accommodations. We even visit the renovated spring above limestone quarry.

[INTRODUCTING AN INNOVATION: ADOPT YOUR MOUNTAIN TRAIL]
The president of Alpine Association of Jezersko, Slovenian Alps 🏔 encouraged all locala active mountaneers, to adopt a mountain path. To take care of it, and with this we all help to maintain paths in the destination. A phenomenal innovative solution to the constant mountain problem sounds great on social media, of course, but in practice it means quite a lot of work:) Hats off to all Markacists!💪🧗
The members of the Park Jezersko team also had the honor of taking care of one of these trails, namely on an abandoned, truly wild and forgotten viewpoint: Kozji vrh. 🐐 One of the hills, perfect for early spring and late autumn, when it is in the highlands still/already too dangerous.
We are publishing some glimpses from the last work campaign (by the way: the path is quite passable again). As befits the name, the peak is guarded by a herd of chamois and a romantic 20 cm thick snow cover:) So be careful and respectful. Chamois need their peace 🤫😁
