don’t miss the small, local vendors at the entrance of fifa fan fest!
they actually just moved into the venue and are right after security off the kelly drive entrance. here’s where i stopped by:
Extra Credit — 4 creatives in one! met jie of Char and Whiskers; she does custom pet portraits in 10-15 mins! (she also does bag paintings for marc jacobs soooo!) at the booth, you’ll also find laster cut jewelry from Katelyn Bladel | Laser Cut Jewelry does the fun laser cut jewelry; cute apparel from The Deli Collective, and greeting cards and magnets/stickers from Parcel Island. Obvi added to my magnet collection!
For The Culture Clothing, LLC - cool philly-based streetwear brand. jarrod and darryl are both founders and designers, and they made a really fun philly/world cup-specific t-shirt which i had to get!!
Holland & Milan Organics LLC.® - for plant-based, handmade hair and skincare products! met miranda who was so lovely (and had the most gorgeous make-up) who walked me through which soap to get. she said the name comes from her daughters!
Caribbean Community in Philly - no shopping at all but a fun activation spot with free stickers and tattoos and a bunch of games to play including corn hole, ludo, and mancala. if you’re curious, you can also chat with miranda, who’s the founding president and strategic project director, or lamya, who’s vp of operations and resident therapist, about all they do and organize!!
the fifa activations are fun but i love that there’s a section for philly-specific businesses. makes for some cool souvenirs if you’re visiting from out of the city!!
