A heavy cloud of sorrow hangs over Northern Uganda today as we mourn the passing of Lacambel Wod’Ogena.

He was so much more than a radio presenter—he was a peacekeeper, a storyteller, and a source of profound comfort to many during their darkest hours.

After a brave battle with illness, Lacambel left us on Sunday.

He leaves behind an incredible legacy, most notably for his bravery on the program ‘Dwog cen Paco’, where he spoke directly to Joseph Kony to guide LRA rebels safely back home.

May the Lord gently receive his soul and grant him the eternal peace he so selflessly worked to give others. Amen.
