Hotels Sports Day at Manzini Sports Club🤼🤽‍♀️⚽️

Today, hotels across Eswatini have come together for the Hotels’ Sports Day taking place at the Manzini Sports Club.

The event brings together teams from The George Hotel - Manzini, Siteki Hotel, Happy Valley Hotel, SibaneSami Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn Mbabane The Royal Villas Eswatini

The goal is to promote teamwork, encourage collaboration, and create a fun environment where staff members can relax and connect. Activities for the day include soccer, netball, volleyball, athletics, tug of war, sack race, and egg race.

As the Eswatini Tourism Authority, we are pleased to see the hospitality industry taking time to relieve stress, refresh, and share ideas. We believe this experience will help staff recharge and continue offering great service to our visitors.

Hon. Jane Mkhonta-Simelane opens Eclat Spa

In a significant boost to Eswatini's growing wellness tourism sector, Minister for Tourism and Environmental Affairs Jane Mkhonta-Simelane yesterday officially opened the luxurious Éclat Spa at Matsapha Link.

The event was attended by key figures in the country's tourism landscape, including ETA CEO Mr. Vusie N. Dlamini, ETA Board of Directors and representatives from the Matsapha Municipality, including the Mayor Lindiwe Dlamini and CEO, Mr. Lucky Sukati.

The Honourable Minister, in her opening remarks, underscored the government's commitment to diversifying Eswatini's tourism offerings. She highlighted that Eclat Spa's state-of-the-art facilities and focus on holistic well-being align perfectly with the nation's vision of becoming a premier destination for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The Matsapha Mayor echoed these sentiments, emphasising how establishments like Eclat Spa enhance the overall visitor experience and contribute to the economic growth of the region.

ETA Accepts the Jilobi Walk Challenge!

Last Sunday, the ETA Team braved the cold, wore their best hiking shoes, set out to the Lubombo region and accepted the Jilobi Walk Challenge 2025! Jilobi, is one of the breathtaking hidden treasures located in the mountains of Lubombo and part of our Community Tourism enhancement initiatives supported.

The Jilobi Forest is about 3000 hectares and is nestled between three neighbouring communities, Maphungwane, Lukhetseni and Tikhuba, atop the Lubombo plateau, along the Lubombo Biosphere Reserve; bordered by Mozambique and the Lowveld-Bigbend.

PM officially launches 7th Edition Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival

The Prime Minister, His Excellency Russell Mmiso Dlamini officially launched the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival. The event was held House on Fire on Friday evening, where the premier was the key-note speaker. Also present was the Minister for Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Jane Mkhonta-Simelane who introduced the premier. Standard Bank's CEO, Mvuselelo Fakudze also shared insights on this year's festival.

With a vibrant line-up featuring acclaimed artists TKZee, Iya, Lady Zamar, Sipho Hostix Mabuse, Blaq Diamond, Sibu Manzini, Phila Dlozi and De Mthuda to name a few, the festival is sure to draw many onto the Malandela's Lifestyle lawn.

ETA partakes in Eswatini's National Career Expos

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security-Eswatini is hosting a series of career expos in all regions of the Kingdom. The Eswatini National Career Expos commenced at King Sobhuza II Stadium in Nhlangano where the youth and school-attending pupils were in attendance to engage with field experts and explore the various career paths they may undertake for employability. The youth were also educated on entrepreneurial paths available. Speakers on the career Eexpo included Mbabane Mayor, His Worship Thulani Mkhonto, Municipal Council of Mbabane CEO, Gciniwe Fakudze and Hhohho Regional Education Officer Dr. Nkosinathi Nkambule

The career expos were hosted in Nsukuwansuku Stadium (Mhlume), Mankayane Sports Ground, Mavuso Trade Centre (Manzini), Mkhuzweni Technical Centre. The expo is ongoing and set for Killarney Stadium (Piggs Peak) and Mavuso Trade Centre on the 8th and 16th of July respectively.

ETA was part of the Mbabane hosted career expos. Thank you to the career expos attendants who visited the ETA gazebo to enquire, suggest, comment, learn and explore what Eswatini had to offer in ensuring that it remains an ideal destination. We learn and do better because of your input. Siyabonga kakhulu 🙏🏽
