FYI: New beginnings await Samui Explorer in 2025/2026.

Following weeks of planning and writing, I'm excited to share that, from February, we will be offering diving courses and diving trips around Southern Thailand.

To facilitate the planning and ex*****on of a diving holiday, I have selected five destinations and partnered with five dive centres that offer excellent sites.

Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Lanta, Khao Lak, and Phuket.

I am designing a scuba diving travel plan around Southern Thailand, hopping from one awesome dive site to another.

A diving partnership

After a long time out from diving, I will complete a refresher course in Koh Lanta, and my Thai husband Jack will enrol in the PADI Open Water diving course to join me as we travel around Southern Thailand to dive at the best dive sites.

FYI: I'm seeing lots of beautiful holiday photos being posted on these groups to include people visiting temples around Samui and showing disrespect !!

There is no excuse people , around the temples are plenty of signs to tell you to cover up and have items of clothing to cover up.

If you choose to NOT COVER up just so you can get a tan then Shane on you !

Reminder on how to dress appropriately when visiting a Temple .

Temple Attire at the Top 5 Temples in Koh Samui
Remember to dress appropriately when visiting temples, especially when visiting less touristy temples around Thailand. 9 temple tips below:

Always cover your shoulders.
Wear a dress or shorts to cover below the knees.
Remove your shoes.
Do not point your feet when you sit down to pray or receive a monk’s blessing. You should either place your feet pointing to the side or kneel.
Keep your head bowed when around a monkey.
Avoid touching the Buddha statues on their heads.
Do not climb on the statues or remove items from spirit houses. For more information about Spirit House, read my blog below.
Do not show any physical contact or public affection.
Stand up when a monk enters the temple.
