1. Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai) is located on the northeastern coast of Koh Samui and offers a panoramic view of the island and its surroundings. Standing at 12 meters tall, the golden Buddha statue is an impressive sight, and the hilltop location provides a fantastic vantage point.
2. Khao Hua Jook Pagoda is situated atop a hill in the center of Koh Samui and offers magnificent 360-degree views of the island. From here, you can see the mountains, beaches, and lush greenery that make Koh Samui so picturesque. The pagoda itself is a tranquil and spiritual place.
3. Lamai Viewpoint is located to the south of Koh Samui. It provides a beautiful view of Lamai Bay, with its turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. From here, you can also see the famous Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks (Hin Ta and Hin Yai) along the coastline.
4. Overlap Stone 1&2 and Giant Hand Viewpoint are popular, steep viewpoint attractions in the hills above Lamai Beach. They offer panoramic views of the jungle and turquoise ocean, featuring a massive natural, balancing, boulder and a large hand-shaped, photo-friendly structure.
5. Lad Koh Viewpoint, also known as Hilltop Viewpoint, is located in Chaweng. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Chaweng Beach, the surrounding hills, and the Gulf of Thailand. It's particularly stunning during sunrise.
