1 1 January 2024 New Year’s Day morning has marked the auspicious first stepping stone of World Buddhist Destinations (WBD) at Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi Vihar, the birthplace of Prince Siddhartha, our Lord Buddha.
World Buddhist Destinations is an international alliance of Buddhist pilgrims groups and individuals, Buddhist Organizations, Academics and Archaeologists, Esteemed Travel Agencies and Destination Management Networks from 30 countries around the world promoting Spiritual journey experience traveling across the globe.
WBD stands for trusted and transparent financial gateway of pilgrimage traveling industry. We voice out the need of pilgrimage tourism promotion at the global stage. We provide experiential learning for Buddhist and those who are interested in participating the glimpse of dharma, spiritual interaction, and inner peace.
WBD, the initiative mission by Lalit Mandap Travel, has introduced the pilot program with Khun Mae Dr. Siri Karinchai Foundation, Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal Airlines, and Lalit Mandap Travel in the Nepal Tourism Promotion “Recharge & Reborn 2024” during 29 December 2023 - 3 January 2024 at the the esteemed destinations in Nepal; Kathmandu, Lumbini, and Pokhara with special high light of Helicopter tour of Annapurna Base Camp.
