We often try to incorporate the grandeur of Thai cultural heritage—both ancient and modern—into our itineraries, but cycle just a few kilometers away from these sites and you’ll find yourself discovering the true gems of Thailand: its people, its countryside, its living traditions…

Did you know? A lot of research goes into planning every single day of our cycling tours—from finding the most scenic roads and breathtaking landscapes to scouting the cutest coffee spots and authentic local eateries. But the real magic? That happens when we hit the ground, exploring Thailand's hidden gems through trial and error! 🌏✨

Recently, we ventured out to connect Amphawa, famous for its coconut groves and pomelo plantations, with the wild beauty of Kaeng Krachan National Park. Imagine cycling through emerald-green rice paddies, tackling steep dirt climbs in the rainforest, and discovering stunning views you won’t find in guidebooks. While this route might not make it into our regular tours, it’s one we’re saving for the boldest, most adventurous travelers. 🚵‍♀️💪

🌍 Meet the Locals 🤝

One of the most rewarding parts of our trips is the chance to meet the incredible people who call these beautiful places home. These may be people we regularly visit, partners, or absolute strangers. Through their stories, traditions, and warmth, they add something truly special to our journeys.

Today, we introduce...

Khun Nui and his sister, Bee, own and run a charming little café near Kamphaeng Phet—an oasis of greenery in the middle of the countryside. Khun Nui speaks a little English and is always very welcoming to guests, serving great coffee in a cozy atmosphere.

And because their hospitality is well known to the teachers from the nearby school who often visit during their breaks and do speak English, there are plenty of pleasant and interesting conversations to be had here.
