Course Director Bjorn Tackmann:

Bjorn is currently the most experienced Course Director in Phuket, holding some of the best IE passing rates in South East Asia. He took his first breath underwater over 20 years ago in Scandinavia, with conditions and equipment not as favorable as today. He has been exploring the underwater world in places such as Scandinavia, the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, t

he Andaman Sea, the Java Sea, the Gulf of Thailand, and the Pacific Ocean. In 1993, Bjorn decided to follow his passion; he turned diving into a career by moving to Thailand and work as a PADI Instructor. He completed his Course Director Training Course in 1996 at PADI Headquarters in California, USA, and has been a full-time Instructor Trainer ever since.

15 years later, his experience builds on more than 150 successful IDCs resulting in over 1000 PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications; including almost 30 current PADI Course Directors and three IE PADI Examiners ! In addition, 2000+ other instructor certifications: Nitrox, Gas Blender, Rebreather, Emergency Oxygen, DPV (U/W scooter), EFR, Deep, Wreck, U/W Video, Digital U/W Photographer and many others. Offering the latest in technology and education, he has always been committed to staying at the forefront of the scuba diving industry.
