Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a century-old market in Ratchaburi. It originated from the digging of the Damnoen Saduak Canal under the royal initiative of King Rama IV in 1866 to connect the Tha Chin and Mae Klong rivers. This created a vibrant canal community and turned it into a world-famous tourist attraction.
