Food in Chiang Mai is certainly much different to the type of food you get on the islands and has plenty of influence from Laos and Burma. You NEED to try Khao Soi when you come.

The city of Chiang Mai has the most serene backdrop of lush green mountains which offer plenty of hikes and drives to great spots and viewpoints. It's only a short drive away from Pai and Chiang Rai too (which you need to add to your Northern Thailand bucket list)

The most beautiful n magnificent "Emerald Temple ". The famous tourist spot among foreign tourists.

Took a weekend trip to Bangkok to see the Grand Palace and catch a glimpse of the Emerald Buddha! After spending the day there, a couple of friends and I went to Asiatique, which is a great shopping destination for tourists, with music, good food, and a ferris wheel!

📍Damnoen Saduak Floating Market 🚣 / Ratchaburi

🚤 Damnoen Saduak floating market is another interesting attraction worth visiting while in Bangkok T the route to this interesting place is ok. 100 km, and the best way to get there will be a taxi Damnoen Suduak is such a big marketplace, and Thailand's most famous floating market 🇹🇭 , accumulating hundreds of boats at the river waterfront, and each of them offers something different 😉 from delicious food in a hundred different varieties to typical tourist souvenirs 🙂

📍 Bangkok / Erewan Shrine

Located at the intersection of Ratchaprasong, the tiny Erewan Shrine Temple is a place visited by both the residents of Bangkok and many tourists. The central point of the Temple, and basically the shrine is the statue of Than Tao Mahaprom, which is the Thai idea of ​​the Hindu god Brahma. A big attraction for visitors is traditional ceremonial dances performed by local dancers in order to give credit and hear prayers.

ℹ️ Erewan Shrine was built in the 50's, working with astrologers who chose the image of four-headed Brahma Tao Mahaprom. And the beautiful statue was made and covered in gold by the Department of Fine Arts. The finished statue went to the shrine in 1956

Big Buddha / Phuket

🙏 Another great Buddha on Thai map🖼️ located at the top of the mountain ⛰️
Nakkerd, looking at Phuket panorama. This 45 meter statue was made of concrete covered with marble tiles. Interestingly,
every visitor ♂️🧍 could buy such a tile and support the construction. with a donation 💵

🏗️construction started as Wikipedia says in 2002 and finished ... I don't think it's finished yet 😉 in 2019 when I took these photos, I'm rating 90%

The original plans for the development of Nakkerd hill contained the construction of a temple complex the largest in the entire island🛕

Another Thai Big Buddha 🇹🇭
📍What Phra Yai Big Buddha / Pattaya

the largest Buddha in the region. Located between Pattaya and Jomtien On Pratumnak Hill, 18 meters high, a large sculpture is part of the Big Buddha Temple.

This statue was erected in 1940 when Pattaya was an unknown fishing village. This temple is very popular among tourists as well as the local population.

The hillside location allows us not only to admire the statues and interior decorations of the temples. but also the scenery of Jomtien On the way to the temple Our eyes saw a dramatic staircase with two seven-headed golden dragons handrails 2 | Temple🐉

💵 Admission is free. But you have to cover your knees and shoulders. You can rent robes before the entrance for a small fee.
